Giveaway Day!!

I have a copy of the book The Patchwork Path shown in the post below that I am giving away. Please leave a post about your favorite quilt block (pattern) and why. I would love to hear from you!

I like the disappearing nine-patch. It looks like one put a LOT of work into it, but is instead pretty easy. Always a bonus for lazy folks such as myself. :)

I love log cabins, you can do enless things with them. Of course you can do the same with any other pattern. Actually, I'm with Julie on this one.

I'd love to win that book b/c my daughters 9 and 11 love to sew and they want to make a quilt! I love the block that has 2 triangles and one is always white - I love traditional quilts.

I'm more of an abstract pattern lover. I've currently been making quilt blocks out of my childrens old clothes, so they come out in all sort of wonderful patterns - wherever the fabric will fit and look beautiful.

favorite for me to make, or favorite for someone to make me..... they are different... I like log cabin blocks, because they're easy, i'd love for someone to make me a cathedral window quilt

I have always loved the log cabin, ever since my grandmother made one for me to sleep under in her spare room when I stayed there.

My favorite block is the Ohio star. I think it is because that is the only block I ever saw as a kid. No one I knew quilted and it was probably on a store quilt.

Ohhh! What a Fabulous giveaway! I saw this book recently {gosh, I totally can't remember where} and another children's book {pictures were embroidery} and I thought how wonderful it would be to collect these books {for myself ;)! hmmm..I always love a simple nine patch {and disappearing nine patch} in any size! The choice of fabrics makes it fun and it was the first one I learned, disappearing nine patch was my first finished quilt! :)
